Find out
What time your Breed will Show!

The Longview Kennel Club will hold their 2009 AKC Licensed All Breed Dog Shows on July 25 & 26 at the Maude Cobb Activity Center. Concurrently, Tyler Obedience Training Club will conduct an All Breed Obedience Trial on July 25 at the Longview Exhibit Building followed by Longview’s All Breed Obedience Trial on July 26. Events will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday and at 8:00 AM on Sunday and continue until approximately 3:30 PM on both days. There will also be Canine Good Citizen Testing and a B Match on Saturday after Best in Show. Both will be in the Maud Cobb Building, and both will start 30 minutes after Best in Show or 5:00 pm--whichever is later. Spectator admission will be two dollars for adults, one dollar for children under 12 years, and five dollars for a family. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Humane Society of Gregg County.

At the all breed dog shows more than 115 different breeds will compete for the dog that most closely matches the standard for each breed exhibited. At the obedience trials activities will range from basic obedience to the more advanced classes that involve retrieving scented objects and performing jumps.

Vendors will be on-site selling pet supplies and accessories. The public is encouraged to come
enjoy the fun.
