See photos of the 2025 show on our Facebook page.

The Longview Kennel Club will hold their 2026 AKC Licensed All Breed Dog Shows in July at the Maude Cobb Activity Center. Tyler Obedience Training Club will be holding their obedience trials concurrently in the Exhibition Center across the street. Spectator admission will be free this year.

At the conformation shows, up to 201 AKC recognized breeds can compete for the dog that most closely matches the standard for each breed exhibited; in 2016, the Longview Kennel Club had 125 of them entered with over 700 dogs competing. At the obedience trials, activities will range from basic obedience to the more advanced classes that involve retrieving scented objects and performing jumps. In 2025, we had entries for 900 dogs on Saturday.
Friday, 759 dogs attended out of 785 entered with 29 4-6 month old puppies
Saturday, 868 dogs attended out of 900 entries with 30 4-6 pups and 14 junior showcase (kids showing their dogs)
Sunday, 845 dogs out of 875 including 20 4-6 pups

Vendors will be on-site, selling pet supplies and amazing and amusing accessories. The public is encouraged to come enjoy the fun.
